AdamGF

AdamGFBrand: Adam GF

Site design by AdamGF himself (Well he is a designer) I put together the site structure in flat PHP with include files for header (page titles, meta tags and desciptions), menu (site navigation) and footer to make it easier to update for the end user rather than using a framework. I did all the CSS which I hope still works across different browsers. The site itself is a great showcase of Adams designs and video work which we decided, were best served via Vimeo rather than embed with a flash player.

Backup Technology

Design by Andy Ellis, this site was built in wordpress using a custom made theme. I set up the Wordpress installation along with supporting the implementation of the theme and managing the site structure and plugins. I also developed a custom PHP redirect system to help with SEO and 301 redirects so the site wouldn’t lose its search rankings. Once approved I managed the migration from staging to the clients live servers along with general content updates and image amends.

Celebrity Letters

This project was started back in 2007 as a joke Facebook group with Lucy where we would write funny letters to TV celebs trying to get them to send a signed picture. We quickly got bored and gave up however have decided to launch it as a stand alone site just because it’s funny to write random stuff to celebrities.

As well as being a contributor of content I set up the wordpress site and did minor CSS work to get it to be an inverse of fillum.

Elliot: Liar

April 20, 2009

Track: Liar
Year: 2004
A good finger picking song, originally called “Maybe I Lied”, I decided to change it to fit with the cover image used (Created by Larry). I’d like to re-record all these tracks one day with some decent lyrics, singing and maybe not have the dodgy mis-timed finger picking. trouble is Elliot is mostly [...]

HCA: Resource Hub

April 19, 2009

Brand: HCA Academy
Company: Branded3
A completely custom resource hub/library built for the HCA Academy. I proposed a completely abstract model for Resources which meant it can manage physical as well as virtual resources. Built using the Zend framework and using MySQL, the site has an customisable search feature that allows the user to save the query [...]

Elliot: Breakpoint

April 16, 2009

Track: Breakpoint
Year: 2002
One of my favourite songs that I’ve ever written because it seems complete. I remember the original versions that the singing was very similar to Placibo but gladly I managed to change away from that (still there a little). The chords are mostly played with the e strings open which gives it a [...]

Bubbles

April 13, 2009

I thought I would play around with the bubble engine a little to make it look a little bit more dynamic, in ths version the alpha, x-sway and y speed are all random along with its scale and start position. Doesn’t it look nice?
