"i'd be more apathetic if i weren't so lethargic."

introduction

greygorn is a concept site where i want to try new methods and visual ways of presenting a web site and the usual boring content you read from personal sites. i might put some flash games on here, i might not.

first of all if you want to navigate around the site use the arrows, there might be a menu later on if it looks cool enough, but if it doesn't then you will have to make do.

i will try and make sure that i don't get bored of the site and not bother upda...
forget it.

you got this far

well done for clicking a link and getting this far, best take a break before reading any more.

i work for magnitude, a creative web design company that produces some pretty cool websites.

magnitude are based in harrogate, north yorkshire, england - it's a nice little town

magnitude have won 2 webby awards which we are told are the "oscars of the internet", the awards take place in new york. niiiiice ...

greygorn?

how did the name greygorn come about? it happened a long time ago, no, not in a galaxy far, far, away cos that would be stupid.

my friend dave g. used to say to me "hey gringo!" in his best mexican voice, but to me it always came out "hey greygor". at the time i started playing diablo online and needed a "handle" geeky i know but shut your face, you're reading.

i set up my account but in the usual online way i forgot the password and it wouldnt reset or send me a new one. bored of waiting, i simply added an n to the name and signed up again. hence greygorn was born.
true story.

one of the first sites i ever built was one in flash, i think i've got the files somewhere and if i can find em i will get it online. to me the site was ground breaking, truely an inspiration to all who visited.

the intro consisted of black screen kicking off with a well know tune from the matrix - "Leave You Far Behind" by "Lunatic Calm". then 2 hashed lines, one vertical and one horizontal moving across the screen in a cross-hair style motion. give it some alpha and a dark red logo appearing and you've got the best site ever seen.

content wise the site consisted of a few lame reviews of films i had seen and some music. bet you're glad theres none of that on here.

wwtdd

the internet is full of stuff you can watch, read and waste you time with, the one i would recommend you see is "what would tyler durden do?"

this guy writes every day with gossip on the celebrities and, although it sounds totally lame like an issue of heat magazine or some similar crap, he brings to our attention the issues that matter, like how wrecked lyndsey lohan is and who's "punching her kitty" this week.

next page in the sequence

ok, so by now you get an idea for how the site is put together, little, or more accurately zero thought has gone into the content. i just did a design and placed 10 pages in sequence because it made sense. the task of filling the pages with something worth reading is proving to be difficult.

actually i put this question to you. why does anyone read about anyone else on the internet? does anyone actually care? but also does anyone remember when facebook was good? when it didn't have a pages of add in applications that are crap?

i find it amusing that facebook applications are now becoming a method of spamming, add this app and send it to ten friends, classic, next they will be asking for your bank account details because they have $234,234,556,434 to deposit with you if you just hand over your details asap, just how many rich south african princes am i related to again?

flash games

one day this will be a list of flash games i have made, they will be the best games ever seen. honest.

flash games to go here.

more flash games to here.

and here

you get the idea

blank page

this is a blank page.

a little bit like an intermission but without the ice cream lady

penultimate page

you are one click away from completing the site, you must be so proud.

just think of all the better things you could've been doing instead of reading this, you coulda made me a cuppa tea for one.

go on, click the link and let's have done.

the end?

this is currently the last page of this site, there might be more pages to come, but knowing my attention span, this will be left for years, i mean years, sorry i meant years.

to be honest if you are reading this content is probably already so old that it won't even make sense. the internet won't even exist, to be honest it's already over rated.
